Library Life Blog: Monday 1st April - Sunday 7th April

PRE-EXAM MODE: From Monday 1st April, 26 York Street goes into Pre-Exam Mode - see email from the Dean to all students on Friday 22nd March 2019. 


26 York Street is in Pre-Examination Mode, Monday 1st April – Sunday 21st April 2019

  • No tours in the building after 3pm, unless approved by the College’s Senior Management Team.
  • Catering on the concourses on Levels -1, 3 and 4 will be minimised as much as possible.
  • Desks around the atria on Levels 3 and 4 will not be used for serving refreshments.

Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Week) le Irish Soc! Irish Week will give RCSI students and staff a chance to practice or learn some Irish and experience Irish culture. Watch out for the Irish Soc pop-up in the Expo Stage on Wednesday 13th with An Ceili Mor on Friday!

Cultural Diversity Month continues! The SU Cultural Officer has worked with student societies to present RCSI's diverse cultural communities to the RCSI community. More great pop-ups at the Expo Stage this week.

Cultural Diversity Month!! March is the month where RCSI Students showcase their cultural background and share experiences with fellow students, staff and the whole RCSI Community. The SU have done a great job this year and we look forward to hosting some of these fantastic events in the Library Expo Stage!

International Women's Day #WomenOnWalls Event Friday 8th March! Students are invited to attend the launch of #WomenOnWalls, which will see 8 new portraits of RCSI connected women being hung in the College Board Room. Event kicks off at 12:30 in the Board Room in 123 SSG with a light lunch and a tour of the portraits.
